• Hang: 135 lbs.
• Body type: Slender and more to love

• For the record I started to write my own songs all in Bisaya, which was the only language I was fluent in, together with momoi (guitarist), formed our own band which did not last. With this unfavorable event, the musicians in me was forced into hibernation. After college, I worked as a visualizer in a top advertising agency and Momoi, went to Manila and worked as an architect. But just as any unrequitted passion, after years in the corporate world, I picked up from where I left off in music and pushed a bit further. I needed Tagalog songs; so I devoured tagalog comics and tabloids, watched TV endlessly and after 6 months, I wrote. Armed with an 11 songs demo and gave it another try. I went to three major labels, who expressed interest. Then back to Cebu with much hope Ive waited... and waited. After months without word from any of the three majors I, somehow accepted my fate.

December of 2004, I met band manager Ann Angala, as she was visiting the city. When she returned to Manila, she received a CD from me. A week after, Sony BMG's A and R director Vic Valenciano was in Cebu, I went to his hotel and gave him a CD which literally got him on his feet daw... A year and a half after; through heartaches, pains, changing musicians, grueling hours in the mixing room, sardines and carton beds; me, the vocalist; Momoi on rhythm guitar, joined by Miko on bass; Deloi on lead guitars and Zaryo on drums here is MANOMANO.

Happiest When: on a suit night, playin Red alert, hearing a great song or watching a good film for the first time, at a concert performing, in a bar with a pint of guinness and good conversation, out for a drive, singing.

PEDRO FILE

The band you have known previously as ManoMano is now back! It is back to cheer you up with their whole new set of naughty songs. And that's not all. Mano and Miko planned of having an audition to fill in the lead guitarist and drummer slots, but unfortunately it wasn't pushed through. They realized that it wasn't a good idea since it's hard to make an event called Rockstar ManoMano when you're not really a star. Isn't it? (di bah?) Several changes happened afterwards. And to sum it all, Egie and Richmond joined the band.

Ladies and gentlemen, girl, boy, bakla, tomboy, here comes Pedro File!

The band is formerly known as “ManoMano”. It is composed of Cebuano members who tried their luck here in Manila last 2005. Luckily, they got their once in a lifetime chance to release their very first solo album on March 2006 entitled “Ladies First” under Sony BMG. This album carried several ground-breaking single songs namely “Bigay na bigay”, “Nene” and “Sulat”.
Since the release of the second single “Nene”, it became the favorite of patronizers of various radio and TV music stations. In fact, the band has been a finalist in the Best Performance By A New Group Recording Artists Category for the song “Nene” of the 20th Annual Awit Awards held last August 8, 2007.

One year after the album release, several changes happened. Both guitarists and drummer decided to leave the band for some personal reasons. From then on, different guitarists and drummers jammed as they continuously played their own style of music. Mano on vocals and Miko on bass stayed strong and loyal to the band.

They decided to push further on their own in the present year. After that, several more changes came in. The group had their own search of a permanent guitarist and drummer for the release of their upcoming album. With some little help from Jeptah (former guitarist of Mano Mano), Egie joined the band as the new lead guitarist. While Richie Ramos (formerly of Barbie's Cardle) recommended his 16-year old son, Richmond to be the drummer. Finally, the line-up of the group was completed.

They now call themselves the “PEDRO FILE”. The group plays pop-funky music, as they would always laugh around, “funky, funky lang”. The band is planning to include 14 songs in their debut album. The songs which were all composed and written by Clenn Mano Sunico, were also arranged by Mano & Miko (Epal din si Egie). The demo for the album was already finished. And as a matter of fact, the band members are now ready for the recording of their album. Hopefully, it will be released this year.

*Ang sumulat ng profile na to ay si Egie boy at Nene. Magaling kasi sila sa Englis. Marunong din naman kami kaya lang mas mabilis silang mag type kaya sila nalang. Lagi nalang kami, kami, kami. So it's now time for them to Do The Math. Aren't they???

MANOMANO

This funky band based in Cebu had its start when lead singer / songwriter Mano and guitarist Momoi first met and performed together in a dance group, while still in high school in Surigao province. (This was back in the late 1990s when groups such as Streetboys and Manouvers were very popular!) But music was the boys first love and after joining a couple of other bands, they decided to form one their own. But things got off to a rocky start when almost immediately two members decided to leave the band. Because of this the band went on hiatus till replacements could found, which fortunately they managed to do so.

Manomano's carrier single, "Bigay na bigay", is hot in airwaves with their signature funky groove, melodic chorus and hook peppered lyrics, they've got their listeners smitten. their 11 songs album entitled LADIES FIRST under Sony BMG Music Entertainment is now out in the market.
